Mandate

One standard. Every sector.

Choose an industry. The questions change, because the setting changes. The tests do not. Nothing here is a portfolio, a product, or an invitation to invest.

Sector

Industrials

Making, moving, and maintaining the physical economy.

What we look for

  • Pricing power that is not just a commodity quote.
  • Maintenance capital we can see, not a footnote.
  • Customers who would notice if the firm disappeared.

Questions we ask

  1. 01What breaks in a down-volume year?
  2. 02Who really sets the price?
  3. 03Is the advantage a franchise, or a plant that needs rebuilding?

How we might structure it

Control or a significant minority. Asset-backed credit where the contract, not the cycle, is what pays.

We would rather decline

Volume stories with no price, and a capital-expenditure bill left out of the model.

The structures named above are ways the firm is willing to think. They are not securities on offer. We do not publish holdings or a track record on this website.

Have a situation that does not fit a box?

That is the point of the mandate. Send the facts, not a sector label.
