Mandate

One standard. Every sector.

Choose an industry. The questions change, because the setting changes. The tests do not. Nothing here is a portfolio, a product, or an invitation to invest.

Sector

Financials

Balance-sheet businesses, read as balance sheets.

What we look for

  • An underwriting culture visible in the losses, not the pitch.
  • Funding that does not require a market to stay open.
  • Incentives that do not pay people to ignore risk.

Questions we ask

  1. 01Where was the last loss, and who owned it?
  2. 02What is matched, and what is hoped?
  3. 03How does liquidity behave on a bad Tuesday?

How we might structure it

Listed equity and private stakes where we can read the book. Credit only against assets and covenants we understand.

We would rather decline

Spread businesses whose edge is cheap funding that can leave.

The structures named above are ways the firm is willing to think. They are not securities on offer. We do not publish holdings or a track record on this website.

Have a situation that does not fit a box?

That is the point of the mandate. Send the facts, not a sector label.
